All Lotteries which do not constitute gaming are illegal.  The exceptions to this general rule are:

  • Small Lotteries incidental to exempt entertainment

  • Private Lotteries

  • Local Lotteries i.e Lotteries promoted by a Local Authority

  • Small Society Lotteries

Fees set by statute

  • Registration Fee - £40

  • Annual Fee - £20
