Registration

Mobile snack bars that wish to operate in the Kennet area will need to register with the Environmental Health Dept and will be subject to routine food inspections and sampling as part of our routine sampling regime. Anyone interested in setting up a mobile snack bar should contact the Environmental Health dept for further advice as there are some restrictions as to where they can be sited (see below). Please telephone 01380 724911 or email kennet@kennet.gov.uk

Streets where trading is prohibited under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.

Woodborough

  1. The C261 for its length from the village sign at the Eastern side of Woodborough, through Free Trade and the centre of the village, to the Western end, terminating at the Broad Street / Smithy Lane crossroads and to the village sign at the Southern end, just before the C38 to include Church Road and Church Farm Lane.

  2. The C38 from the village sign at the Northern end of the village (known as The Sands) through the Broad Street / Smithy Lane crossroads and to the village sign at the Southern end, just before the C38 bridge across the main railway line, to include Smithy Lane and Hurst Lane for the whole of their lengths.
