Kennet District Council is one of the statutory members of the Kennet Community Safety Partnership, along with the Police, County Council, Fire and Rescue Service and the Primary Care Trust, and the Police Authority.  We work with many other organisations including Housing Associations, the Voluntary Sector, the Parish and Town Councils and Community Groups to ensure that Kennet remains one of the safest places in England in which to live.  Kennet District Council is working with partners to help make our communities stronger and safer by:-

  • further reducing crime and anti-social behaviour

  • creating safer environments

  • protecting the public and building confidence

Weeks Of Action

During September, Kennet’s Community Safety Manager will be co-ordinating “Four Weeks in September” on behalf of a Wiltshire-wide campaign initiated by the Wiltshire Community Safety and Drugs Partnership
