Q.  -  What is anti-social behaviour?

A.  -  "Behaviour that caused or which is likely to cause alarm, harrassment or distress to one or more persons not of the same household ( as the perpetrator)"

Q.  -  How are reports/problems of anti-social behaviour dealt with?

A.  -  There is no specific answer to this - each report is responded to by all the relevant agencies in Kennet working together with the local communities. We use a problem solving approach to identify the cause of the problems and the ways in which it can be stopped.

Q.  -  What can I do if I find discarded needles or syringes?

A.  -  If you find discarded syringes or needles, you can ring Kennet District Council’s Contact Centre on 01380 724911 who will arrange for their removal.

Q.  -  Who can I report anti-social behaviour to?

A.  -  Our Community Safety Officer, Partnership Anti-Social Behaviour Reduction Officer, or any other member of the District Council staff who will be able to pass the message on to either of those Officers. In an urgent situation, tell the Police or your Housing Association.
