The Tidworth Community Area Partnership is delighted to present the first edition of your Community Plan. It has been produced from ideas put forward by the community at various consultation events, meetings and responses by questionnaire to the draft Plan distributed to all housholds, business and organisations in the Community Area in July. Our thanks go to the many people who have contributed to the Plan by giving their time to ensure that the Plan is inclusive of the whole Community Area and that projects which affect their lives for the better are included.

The end result is an outline Plan which sets out the hopes and aspirations of our community and lays down the foundations and directions for the years ahead. From this Plan will be developed a detailed Action Plan which will set out the way the local authorities and supporting organisations intend to achieve the specific aims and targets. The Plan will be updated and re-issued every 4 years so that you will be able to compare and see the progress being made on behalf of the community.

We hope you will find time to read through the Plan and perhaps begin to think about ways you can support the themes that are outlined. For our part we will keep you updated on developments and progress so that together we can take the essential steps towards maintaining and improving the quality of life for our community.
