Funding is available to organisations and artists living and/or working in Kennet which help fulfil the aims and objectives outlined in the Leisure & Arts Strategy and help deliver the policies and strategies of the District Council.
In order to conserve and enhance the quality of landscapes, Kennet District offer conservation grants to local landowners.
Grants to organisations that are helping to develop sports and leisure opportunities in line with the Kennet District Council Leisure Strategy.
Grants for minor repairs and improvements to village halls or contributions to major schemes in partnership with other funders.
Grants for refurbishment of play areas and recreational facilities
Grants to organisations who can help deliver services which provide access to the Countryside in line with the District Council Policies and Strategies.
Grants to organisations that are instrumental in improving the provision of opportunities in the area of social inclusion. Also grants to organisations who are helping to deliver specific sections of Kennet District Council policies and Strategies.
Applications considered from non profit making organisation or projects wanting to assist in the provision of housing accommodation or support services for those in housing need. The overall level of grant is limited and applicants are advised in the first instance to contact the Housing Services section before submitting an application.
