Policy and Community Planning covers the following services.

The Policy Team takes the lead on and co-ordinates the Authority's approach to:

Best Value: Ensuring that we use our resources wisely to provide the most efficient, effective and economic services to our residents.

Comprehensive Performance Assessment:   The assessment of local service provision and overall performance that all UK councils undergo.

Corporate Strategy: The Council's four-year Corporate Strategy sets out our key priorities.

Performance Management: Regular monitoring of our provision of public services in Kennet District.

Community Planning:  The Community Planning team works in partnership with other organisations and local people to produce and implement community plans for the four Kennet Community Areas:
