If you are a landlord or agent and would like more information about Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit then these pages have been designed to help you find out more about the ins and outs of benefits.

Whether you want to know more for your own interest or to help your tenants to sources of information and advice this page is your first step.  You or your tenants can follow the links on this site to find out lots of useful stuff including who can claim, how to claim, how we work out entitlement, what happens if something changes, etc.....

For your tenants the main source of information is contained in our main benefits section which can be found by clicking here, we also have a page dedicated to the various advice leaflets and forms we publish as well as links to other websites for information and advice.

Most of the pages are written with tenants/benefit claimants in mind, however, we have also prepared some information specifically for landlords/agents.
