** any additional wasp nests at the same premises will be charged at £10 if treated on the same day. This does not include :

  • nests that are discovered after the pest control officer has treated the property and left.

  • nests on neighbouring properties

Customers paying the discounted rate will also be charged £10 per additional nest.

*Discounted rates:

Discounted rates are available for those residents who live within the Kennet District who are classified as being on a low income (equates to a 50% discount on Pest Control treatments).

Eligibility for discounted rates :

To be eligible, your normal residential home has to lie within the Kennet District Council boundaries AND you must fall into one of the following categories :

In receipt of :

  • Housing and/or Council Tax Benefit

  • Income Support

  • Disabled Persons Tax Credit

  • Pension Credit

  • Working Tax Credit

  • Long Term Incapacity Benefit or Disability Living Allowance

  • Invalidity Carers Allowance

  • Job Seekers Allowance-Income Based

  • You are a dependant (under 16 years old) of someone entitled to one or more of the above.

Or if you are (aged 16 years or over) :

  • A Full Time Student

  • On Work Based Training for Young People

  • On Work Based Learning for Adults

In order to qualify for the 50% discount, you will need to show written proof to the Pest Control Officer at the time of payment.

Payment

Payment is by cash, cheque, debit or credit card.
