Kennet District Council is passionate about leisure development and strongly believes that sport and active recreation has the power to positively affect individuals and communities.

Furthermore, we believe that everyone is entitled to the same opportunities and access to high quality sports activities and events, irrespective of age, gender, ability, personal circumstances or ethnic origin.

The Leisure and Arts Strategy 2005 – 2008 (pdf, 578 KB) outlines the priority areas of work in which we wil be involved during the four year life of the strategy.
