School Sports Festivals

Kennet Leisure Development Officers assist in the organising of School Cluster Festivals and also organise and deliver District School Sports Festivals and the Wiltshire Youth Games.
The organisation and delivery of the Cluster and District Festivals and pre-event coaching is designed to give the best experience to the pupil, whilst also giving quality coaching opportunities to enthusiastic teachers.
The sports festival format is designed to encourage skill development whilst giving pupils the experience of competition in a major event.
Following on from the District Festivals, winning teams are invited to represent this district at the Wiltshire Youth Games.
