Q. - Who is responsible for my drain?
A. - Pipework between property and connection to the public sewer is the responsibility of the property owner.  The public sewer system is the responsibility of the Water company.

Q. - Do you hold records of the sewers in my area?
A. - Environment and Leisure Services hold details of all public sewers within the Kennet District.

Q. - Which water company's responsible for my area?
A. - Dependant on your location, it maybe one of three water companies;

Southern Water - Tel: 0845 2780845

Alternatively you may ring Kennet District Council on 01380 724911 or email kennet@kennet.gov.uk.  If private the responsibility lies with the landowner.
