Kennet District Council will collect bulky household items by arrangement (Special Collection Service).
Please call Kennet Contact Centre on (01380) 724911, choosing option 3, or follow the above link to make your reservation on line.
The Council will collect bulky or heavy domestic household items(please see table) This service is arranged on an appointment basis and a complete list of items you would like collecting needs to be given. If you wish to cancel a collection or alter the list after your appointment has been made please call the Contact Centre. Please note collections are at the Council's discretion.
The charge for this service is £15 for 1 to 4 items, £30 for 5 to 8 items etc, this may be paid over the phone with a debit/credit card or by cheque but payment must be received at least three working days before your collection.
The items for collection will need to be placed at the kerbside at the front of your property by 07:00 hrs on the day of the collection (e.g. front garden or drive).
If the items you would like to dispose of are in such a condition that they may be reused you could ring Kennet Furniture Recycling on Tel: 01380 720722. or email
