A. - The price is reduced by half if you are in receipt of Kennet Housing Benefit.
A. - To book a special collection, please contact the Council on 01380 724911 for more information or fill out an application form online. This service is arranged on an appointment basis and a complete list of items you would like collecting needs to be given. If you wish to cancel a collection or alter the list after your appointment has been made please call the Council. Please note collections are at the Council's discretion. There is a small charge for this service.
A. - The Council will collect bulky or heavy domestic household items such as beds and freezers from outside your home. Please note that we can not enter your property to pick up items. Where any volume of loose material needs to be moved, the householder will be advised to hire one of the Council's skips. The items for the collection will need to be placed in a position both easily accessible and visible from the road at the front of your property by 07:00hrs on the day of the collection (e.g. front garden or drive)
A. - All materials picked up will be recycled wherever possible. If your item is in good condition and can be reused, please contact Kennet Furniture Recycling on 01380 720722
A. - Kennet Furniture Recycling will pick up furniture that is in a reusable condition from your property free of charge. Contact them on 01380 720722.
A. - The Council will not pick up any liquids, oil tanks, or cast iron items such as Rae burns (due to the weight), car batteries, car tyres or any hazardous waste. Two men must be able to lift each item easily
A. - All items from a domestic property can be taken to the Household Recycling Centres at Hopton Industrial Estate, Devizes or Everleigh for no charge. Alternatively, please contact Kennet Furniture Recycling on 01380 720722 if your item are in good condition.
