How Sure Let can benefit you:
We have a constant supply of suitable tenants looking to privately rent.
We will advertise your property free of charge in the local press.
Model Tenancy Agreement & Inventory provided free of charge.
Fast Track Housing Benefit Claims, where applicable
A Deposit Guarantee will be issued to you. In the event of a claim at the end of the tenancy, the debt transfers to the Council.
Initial three month property inspection - a Housing Officer will inspect the property and report back to you.
Continued assistance to the Landlord to ensure all goes well under the scheme.
What types of properties do we want?
The types of properties let through Sure Let vary from studio flats to family houses and are located in towns and villages across Kennet. If you want to let your property through the scheme a Housing Officer will visit the property to ensure that it meets basic fitness and safety requirements.
How does the Deposit Guarantee work?
Instead of you taking a cash deposit from the tenant, we will provide you with a written Guarantee. The Guarantee, which is the equivalent to one month's rent, can be used against damage to the property or rent arrears at the end of the tenancy. If you need to submit a claim at the end of the tenancy, you should contact the Housing Officer immediately, who will arrange an inspection of the property. Claims that have been agreed will be settled within 10 working days of agreement.
