Statement of Community Involvement
Following a period of consultation, the Statement of Community Involvement was amended and made available for representation for a six week period ending 22nd March 2005. Representations were forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. Planning Inspector Keith Holland undertook a public examination to test the document for ‘soundness'. The examination was held under the ‘written representations’ format. The final version of the Inspector’s Report was received by the Council in July 2005 and contained one binding recommendation. The Inspector’s Report was considered by the Planning Policy Executive meeting and the Statement of Community Involvement was formally adopted on 15th September 2005 (as amended by the Inspector).
