The Council is responsible for preparing and maintaining an emergency plan which will enable us to provide a fast, efficient, effective and caring response to any civil emergency, major incident or other crisis.
We actively participate in working groups with the stakeholders aimed at improving the coordinated response to major incidents. These include Wiltshire County Council, other local authorities, the emergency services, voluntary agencies, major utilities and government departments.
