Abandoned Trolleys

Please follow this link to report an Abandoned Shopping Trolley.Kennet District Council constantly seeks to ensure that our district continues to be one of the cleanest in the country. One specific problem is caused by shopping trolleys and other types of trolleys, which have been taken from their original site and abandoned in the surrounding communities. When abandoned, these trolleys become a blight on the quality of the local environment, they cause harm to wildlife and often cause a flood hazard when dumped in water courses. Please help us to help your local environment by reporting any shopping trolleys which have been abandoned in the Kennet district. On receipt of a report Kennet District Council will notify the relevant trolley owner who will be requested to remove the trolley within 24hrs. If the owner of the trolley does not reclaim the trolley within the specified time period, Kennet District Council will remove and store the trolley under powers contained within the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act (2005).
